About English class

Imagen
My name is José Ignacio Muñoz; I am studying the level B1 of English at university and today I’m going to speak about what I do when I stay at class to improve my English learning. When I’m in English class I always have on hand my little notebook to take notes.  I always pay attention to Miss Pilar because she frequently asks questions to the Class. When this is it, I have to activate my computer camera and microphone to answer.  I like this very much because I have to stay concentrated every moment and this makes the class more interesting. My favorite topics of the English class are the “Listening practice”. I like so much to hear conversations to practice because it is my weakness at English. Since I started the English grade I realize that I was terrible to understand about what are talk about the persons of the audios, but today, after practice a bit,  I can understand better. I have learned many things, including: Introducing myself, asking and answering que...

PLANTNET

Imagen
Hi everybody, I'm going to speak about PlantNet, an app for Smartphones and IOS, that I used to discover a lot of new plants that I see in the practice excursions of my career.  PlantNet is a tool of collection, annotation and retrieval of images to identify plants. It was developed by a consortium made up of scientists from CIRAD, INRA, INRIA, IRD, and the Tela Botanica network under a project funded by the Agropolis Foundation. The link is: https://identify.plantnet.org/es   I really like this app, I worked really well with my cell phone and scissors to collect native plants of Chile to complete a Biotics activity known as “Herbal”, It consisting in cut a sample of a tree or bush of our country to press it to conserve parts of a plant to study his characteristic and observe the fruits of each plant to help recognize better.    I always used this app when I went out to street and I saw trees or bushes, but since started the pandemic and the qua...

A photograph I like!

Imagen
This photograph was taken by my cousin Jimena, in the Palgulil River located in “Palguin Bajo”, a community of Pucon.  In this pic were my countryside dog called Lucas and me.  What I like about this photo is that I think it is so funny. I was sitting on the rock while dipping my legs in the river when Lucas arrived to sit next to me.  At this moment I feel a little bit cold, but Lucas gave me warmth with his fur. haha, I remember that I said to him “ “Thanks for all, little bro” so we stayed there for about ten minutes while we watched some birds.   It should be noted that wherever I went to explore, Lucas always came with me. He accompanied me to visit forests, rivers, mountains and almost all of “Palguin bajo”. Every morning when I woke up Lucas was waiting for me at the door, ready for a new adventure!
